It does fit the 6.5 savage axis, but its a little loose (3d printed so I might have gotten a warped or shrunken one). With a bipod on the rifle, it does lean forward and fall off mount. Still easy to install and and would probably work better if I didn't mount it parallel to ground, 45° should work just fine
